Flasher Rigs Paternoster Pre-Tied Snapper Rig
Flasher Rigs are paternoster fishing rig that is Pre-Tied with a Design for Simple Use ,That Comes Ready to Fish. When Fishing a Flasher rig the first thing you want to do is connect the rig to the main line, I like to use a uni knot. Also you will need to Attach some weight on the bottom of the rig.
A Flasher Rig works much like a Slow Pitch Jig But in a Micro Sense,  you Apply Some bait to Both of the Hooks &  floating  movement of the bait combined with like the Lumo infused Flasher Attracts the fish working together & Presenting as a wounded bait fish  and this  enhance your chance of catching a fish .
The Pink Lumo Infused Flashers are known to Fool a Snapper or two and most fishermen that do any sort of Bait fishing will include a Couple in there Tackle Box . it’s a Fairley common rig fished in Snapper season Around Australia. Many anglers that fish from Land based at beach use it as a Surf Rig they Work very well on most Fish From Mulloway to Whiting all are regularly caught . In the Surf it’s The Blue Flasher that gets Most of the attention Reedy’s Rigz Make a Excellent Live Pilchard Flasher Perfect for the Surf. If Chasing those Sand Whiting the Red Worm is very Popular & For Victorian & South Australian  Anglers Chasing King George whiting .

This season they are already a huge hit in Port Phillip Bay, Western Port, Lakes Entrance and Gippsland in Victoria. South Australia’s St Vincent Gulf and Metro Adelaide, Shark Bay in Western Australia, Sydney Coast line and Tweed Heads New South Wales and Brisbane Coast line, the list goes on and on. If you’re fishing for reds with your maximum rods, it’s worth making sure at least some of them are rigged with a Snapper Snatcher for a bit of variety. No matter whether you’re fishing from the shore or a boat, it is best to jazz up your Snapper Snatcher hooks with a small piece of bait. A strip of pilchard is ideal, especially in the surf. Pass the hook through the squid strip just once, towards one end of the strip, just as you would for normal circle hooks. Small fish fillets or pieces of cut up baitfish can also be used with Snapper Snatchers. When baiting up, it is essential to ensure the gape of the hook is not obscured with too much bait and the hook point is well clear of the bait. Once you have your Snapper Snatcher rigged, baited and in the water, do nothing! The circle hooks, are designed to hook the fish in the corner of the mouth as it takes the bait and moves away. Striking at bites will only pull the hooks from the red’s mouth, so it is imperative not to strike. If holding the rod while surf fishing, don’t start fighting the fish until you’re sure the fish is well hooked. If boat fishing, put the rod in a rod holder, low to the water, then sit back and wait for the fish to hook themselves. Don’t even touch the rod until there is a strong, sustained bend in the rod and/or line is pouring from the reel. It’s a hard habit to break, but it’s important. A great way to fish for snapper with Reedys rig’s is directly to the bottom, beneath the boat. Presumably the rocking of the boat gives the rigs some up and down action, which attracts the fish. It doesn’t matter whether you use your Snapper Snatchers in conjunction with a braid or mono mainline. You will get excellent hook up rates with both.

Snapper Fishing Rigs By Reedy’s Rigz are receiving a fair share of attention by fisho’s. I thought it was about time to explain how the fishing rig works. Snapper Flasher Rigs are pre-tied fishing rigs. They come in a range of Hook sizes and Flasher colors, but they all use circle hooks, Hand tied in a paternoster arrangement which the fishing ling strength can vary from 20lb or 30lb used for Whiting, Bream or Australian Salmon to as heavy as 60lb or 80lb leader for the bigger fish like snapper or Mulloway . The Lure Part of the fishing rig is Lumo infused flasher material attached to the top of the circle hooks and a Lumo bead that sits above each hook .The Rig is like a saibki rig but in a bigger scale the movement though jigging or the natural rocking of the boat helps lure in the fish . Reedy’s rigs can be used for surf fishing rig or fished for whiting in the smaller model Size #4. Snapper Rigs in 5/0 are , very effective in the surf. I have caught a number of Australian salmon from the surf on The Paternoster Snapper Rig , and they are fished regularly to catch other species like gummy sharks & Tailor . This is one of Best uses for Snapper rigs in Australian & New Zealand waters. They fish Very well not just for snapper but a range of fish like whiting, Mulloway , Australian Salmon the list is basically endless what they catch. if you’re fishing from the pier or out of a boat, it is best to use bait on your flasher rig. Strip of squid is a good bet , especially in the surf. Pass the hook through the strip just once, towards one end of the bait, just as you would for normal circle hooks. Once you have your Snapper Rig rigged, baited and in the water Sit back & relax you don’t need to strike the circle hooks will catch the fish , just a lift of the fishing rod once it is fully buckled should see a good hook up .
