Also gives you a fighting chance to land bigger fish Like gummy sharks or Any other fish you might encounter .Also a sinker / weight try to keep it light as possible to get to the bottom , So for example when fishing Some where like Port Phillip bay in Victoria i use a Size 1 Sinker just barly light enough to get to the bottom . But say if i was fishing Offshore in Western Australia I might need a little more weight because currents .
